Lancaster Catholic and Lancaster Mennonite pushed the score to 17-2 the last time they played Lancaster Mennonite, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Crusaders never let the Blazers get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The one-run effort marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Lancaster Catholic's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Lancaster Mennonite, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
