Basketball Recap: Hampton Christian Academy Continues Home Dominance on Monday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Norfolk Christian, Hampton Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 48-22 margin over the Summit Christian Academy Eagles. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Warriors had established a 25 point advantage.

Hampton Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayla Crosby, who went 7 for 15 on her way to 18 points and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Crosby has scored at least a third of Hampton Christian Academy's points. Mahdy Sigler was another key player, putting up eight points.
