Volleyball Recap: Wesleyan Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Wesleyan had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Druid Hills Red Devils on Thursday. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Wesleyan was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21.

Coincidentally, Wesleyan and Druid Hills will both be playing Riverwood the next time they take the court. The Wolves will head out to face the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Red Devils will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
