Basketball Recap: St. Helens Comes Up Short

St. Helens lost against Scappoose on January 14th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The St. Helens Lions fell 54-45 to the Scappoose Indians.

St. Helens' defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Scappoose, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

St. Helens will challenge Seaside at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. As for Scappoose, they will be playing at home against Tillamook at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
