Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Faith Academy). They blew past the Opp Bobcats 11-1 on Friday. The Rams not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 11, 2024.

Faith Academy got a great performance from Riley Hall as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Brodie Wilson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Cooper Smith, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Faith Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. Opp moved to 10-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Faith Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Opp: the pair will be back at it again later today.
