The Lawrence Central Bears put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Ben Davis, posting a 60-30 victory at home. The result was nothing new for Lawrence Central, who have now won four matches by 25 points or more so far this season.

Lawrence Central was led to victory by Jaylah Lampley and Aniyah Mckenzie. Lampley scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals, while Mckenzie scored 23 points along with 3 steals and 3 blocks. That makes it five consecutive games in which Lampley has scored at least 25% of Lawrence Central's points. Another player making a difference was Laila Abdurraqib, who scored 4 points along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds.

Ben Davis' loss came despite strong showings from Laila Brown and Alonna Divine. Brown scored 6 points, while Divine scored 10 points.

Lawrence Central has yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 5-0 record. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Ben Davis, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Lawrence Central will face off against George Rogers Clark at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ben Davis is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Cathedral at 7:30 p.m. on November 28th. Hopefully Cathedral focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Saturday.
