East Bakersfield is a perfect 10-0 against West since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Blades will be playing at home against the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (East Bakersfield has three straight wins, West has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times East Bakersfield and North have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Blades put the hurt on the Stars with a sharp 13-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Blades, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

RANDY LENOIR was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double. He has become a key player for East Bakersfield: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-10 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of ADAN MARTINEZ, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one double.
East Bakersfield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .476. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, West fell victim to Tehachapi and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 16-0.
East Bakersfield's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. East Bakersfield has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like West struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went East Bakersfield's way against West in their previous matchup back in March, as East Bakersfield made off with an 18-2 victory. Do the Blades have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
