Baseball Recap: Plano East Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Plano East's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Prosper Eagles on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since March 1st.

Plano East's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8-1. As for Prosper, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season.

While Plano East had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
