Football Recap: Tellico Plains Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tellico Plains was the 22-14 winner over Oneida when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears fell 24-14 to the Indians on Friday. The matchup marked the Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Tellico Plains still got an impressive performance from Nathaniel Bivens, who rushed for 51 yards and a pair of scores.

Brock Ryon had an outrageously good game for Oneida as he rushed for 146 yards and three TDs, and also threw for 127 yards while completing 80% of his passes.

This is the second loss in a row for Tellico Plains and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Oneida, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.

Tellico Plains will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eagleton College & Career Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd. The Royals will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oneida, they have already played their next contest, a 33-0 loss against Coalfield on the 26th.
