Volleyball Recap: San Antonio Christian's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

San Antonio Christian came into Wednesday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Medina Valley Panthers 3-0 on Wednesday. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

One reason for the win was San Antonio Christian's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-23, 25-14.

San Antonio Christian can attribute much of their success to Sydney Smith, who had 23 digs. That's the most digs Smith has posted over her last seven matches. Taytum Robert also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
