Adryean Finney Dazzles in Cooper Win

Starting off the list is Cooper's Adryean Finney, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Finney rushed for 160 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 138 rushing yards.

The victory (which was Cooper's third in a row) raised their record to 4-3. Finney and Cooper will take on Rivercrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Levi Beavers was instrumental in extending Honey Grove's winning streak to four on Friday. Rivercrest had no answer to Beavers as he made 17 total tackles (1.0 for loss). Beavers showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 66 yards.

Unfortunately for Rivercrest, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Beavers. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Beavers saw the Rebels), he forced a fumble and made 15 total tackles (5.0 for loss).

Tre'lyn Bailey Makes It Two for Honey Grove

Keeping Beavers company is Tre'Lyn Bailey, a fellow Honey Grove player. He wasn't messing around on Friday, rushing for 82 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown. The matchup was his third straight with two or more rushing touchdowns.
