Plainfield took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Harrison, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Quakers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Raiders 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Quakers, who have now won nine matches in a row.

Audrey Utterback paced Plainfield's offense, picking up 16 kills. Utterback got some help from Charlee Groninger and her 42 assists. Utterback was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Plainfield's record now sits at 19-4. As for Harrison, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 17-5 record.

Plainfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Danville on the 29th. As for Harrison, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hamilton Heights on the 27th.
