Daniel Boone took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Muhlenberg, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Blazers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Muhls on Wednesday, sneaking past 5-4. The victory was some much needed relief for the Blazers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Daniel Boone's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Zachary Hasara, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits Hasara has posted since back in April of 2024. Logan Herzog also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-6. As for Muhlenberg, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Daniel Boone will venture away from home to square off against Boyertown at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Muhlenberg, they will head out to face off against Exeter Township at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Muhls 3.8, the Eagles 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
