Basketball Recap: Waverly Skates Past Eastern with Ease

There's no place like home for Waverly, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Eastern Quakers, posting a 58-31 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their 25-point performance the matchup before.

The victory got Waverly back to even at 3-3. As for Eastern, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Waverly is taking a road trip to square off against East Lansing at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastern and Williamston will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Williamston will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Eastern surely won't give up without a fight.
