Recap: Starmount Rams vs. East Wilkes Cardinals
After losing to the East Wilkes Cardinals the last time they met, the Starmount Rams decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Starmount came out on top against East Wilkes by a score of 56-49 on Tuesday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Starmount to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordon Dobson, who scored 17 points. Colton Allen was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds.
Starmount's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for East Wilkes, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Starmount will face off against South Stokes at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Stokes will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. As for East Wilkes, they will head out on the road to square off against North Stokes at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Stokes has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 875 points over their last 13 games.
