Basketball Recap: Sherman Tide vs. St. Joseph Central Irish

After flying high against Van last Thursday, Sherman came back down to earth. The Sherman Tide had to suffer through a 67-35 loss at the hands of the St. Joseph Central Irish. The Tide lost against the Irish in their previous head to head back in January of 2019, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 53-44 score last time.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Joseph Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Keaton, who went 6 for 13 en route to 18 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Sanders, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds.

Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with St. Joseph Central sitting on three straight victories and Tug Valley on seven.
