Softball Recap: Mountain Brook Takes a Loss

Mountain Brook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Vestavia Hills Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-0 loss back in February.

Edith Kaplan was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Mountain Brook's defeat dropped their record down to 12-28. As for Vestavia Hills, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 12-18-1 record.

Mountain Brook does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vestavia Hills, they will face off against Chelsea at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
