The Greenwood Christian Hawks will take on the American Leadership Academy Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Greenwood Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.9 goals per game this season.

Greenwood Christian took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Spartanburg Christian Academy a 7-0 shutout. Considering Greenwood Christian have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Spartanburg Christian Academy from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, American Leadership Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch last Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Batesburg-Leesville, falling 4-0. The shutout was out of character for American Leadership Academy seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Greenwood Christian pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those seven games. As for American Leadership Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
