Soccer Recap: Westland Hialeah Takes a Loss

Westland Hialeah was the 1-0 winner over Hialeah-Miami Lakes when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Westland Hialeah Wildcats fell just short of the Hialeah-Miami Lakes Trojans by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Westland Hialeah's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-2. As for Hialeah-Miami Lakes, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-7.

Westland Hialeah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hialeah-Miami Lakes, they will challenge Mater Academy Charter at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Hialeah-Miami Lakes' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
