After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Woodmont, Greenwood was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the J.L. Mann Patriots. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won three in a row.

Greenwood walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 19-25, 25-16, 25-19.

Greenwood's victory bumped their record up to 4-12. As for J.L. Mann, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Coincidentally, Greenwood and J.L. Mann will both be playing Mauldin the next time they take the court. The Patriots will head out to face the Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
