Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Treutlen

Treutlen lost to Warren County back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Treutlen Vikings managed a 65-61 win over the Warren County Screaming Devils. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Vikings' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 517th, while the Screaming Devils are ranked 217th).

The win made it two in a row for Treutlen and bumps their season record up to 3-5. As for Warren County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

As for Warren County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-44 defeat against Meadowcreek on the 28th.
