            Softball Recap: San Juan Broncos vs. North Summit Braves        
        
		
        
        
            San Juan had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 18-run drubbing they dealt North Summit on Thursday. The Broncos put the hurt on the Braves with a sharp  18-0 win. The  victory continues a trend for the Broncos in their matchups with the Braves: they've now won four in a row.
 Khatira Keith made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and one  triple.

 In other batting news, San Juan let  Averie Gilson and  Miley Harrison run wild. Gilson  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  RBI, while  Harrison  fired off two  home runs and three  RBI while going 2-for-3. Those  two  home runs gave  Harrison a new career-high.  Sadie Cosby also deserves some recognition as  she  launched her first  home run of the season.
 San Juan  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Summit didn't  got any hits.
San Juan's record is now 9-13. As for North Summit,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-9.
San Juan will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Braves: the pair will be back at it again later today.
