For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Southeast and Yates Center meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Lancers blew past the Wildcats 22-1. Considering the Lancers have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Southeast pushed their record up to 15-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Yates Center, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-16-2 record this season.

Southeast will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Caney Valley on the 9th. As for Yates Center, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-4 loss against Marmaton Valley on the 1st.
