Basketball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 71-56 fall against the Christian Heritage Lions. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 457th, while the Lions are ranked 112th).

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Christian Heritage, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington will face off against Therrell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christian Heritage, they will square off against Coosa at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
