Softball Recap: Webutuck Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Webutuck's offense. They came up short against the Germantown Clippers on Friday, falling 18-0. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Clippers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Webutuck saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ciara Grey, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Webutuck is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Germantown, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Webutuck will venture away from home to square off against Dover at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Germantown, they will head out to face off against Chatham at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
