Baseball Recap: East Central Wins Going Away Against Braham

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Aitkin, East Central was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Braham Bombers as they made off with a 9-2 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by seven runs or more this season.

East Central's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tristan Wentworth, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Another was Reace Youngberg, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

East Central's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Braham, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

East Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Crosby-Ironton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles are facing the Rangers at the right time seeing as the Rangers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Braham, they will head out to square off against McGregor at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bombers will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: the Mercuries will have lost six straight heading into Thursday's game.
