Basketball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Madison can now relate to. They took a 53-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Central Trojans on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for West Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Madison nor West Central have any future games scheduled.
