Softball Game Preview: Sipsey Valley Bears vs. John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers

For the first time this season, Sipsey Valley will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Thursday. They will be playing at home against the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers at 5:00 p.m. Sipsey Valley is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Sipsey Valley came up short against West Blocton on Tuesday, falling 12-2.

Sipsey Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jules Lindsey, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, while John Carroll Catholic put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Wenonah. Everything went John Carroll Catholic's way against Wenonah as John Carroll Catholic made off with a 15-0 victory.

John Carroll Catholic's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Sipsey Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
