            Softball Preview: Baldwin Highlanders vs. West Mifflin Titans        
        
		
        
        
            The Baldwin Highlanders will venture away from home to  take on the West Mifflin Titans  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Baldwin will be strutting in after a  win while West Mifflin will be coming in after a  loss.
While Highlanders fans will have to keep waiting for their  squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Friday's  season opener. They blew past Canon-McMillan 8-1 on Friday.
 Camryn Temme was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Temme was also stellar in the batter's box,  firing off three  home runs and four  RBI while going 3-for-4.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Ryley Shaw, who  fired off three  home runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave  her a new career-high in  runs (three).
 Baldwin  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Canon-McMillan only managed four  hits.
Meanwhile, West Mifflin lost  9-2 to South Park on Wednesday.
 West Mifflin saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  TAYLOR KRIVANEK, who  scored a  run and  stole  Two bases. while going 1-for-3.
 Baldwin beat West Mifflin 5-2  when the teams last played  back in March of 2024. Will Baldwin repeat their success,  or does  West Mifflin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
