Mohave Accelerated is a perfect 6-0 against Anthem Prep since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Patriots will square off against the Eagles at 11:00 a.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Mohave Accelerated's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 27-0 margin over Glendale Prep Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Megan Jones made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one hit in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2025.

In other batting news, Kennedy Lamb and Tanner Banks did most of the damage at the plate: Lamb went 4-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs, while Banks went 1-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. Meanwhile, Anthem Prep won against Antelope on Tuesday with 20 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Eagles blew past Maryvale Prep 20-4. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Matador recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Grace Stillwell was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Stillwell was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Anthem Prep let Charlotte Locke and Addison Purvis run wild. Locke fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-5, while Purvis went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Dylana Lee, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Mohave Accelerated's record now sits at 15-3. As for Anthem Prep, their record is now 12-3.

Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Mohave Accelerated has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11 hits per game. However, it's not like Anthem Prep struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.2 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
