Recap: Commerce Tigers vs. Tatum Eagles
The Commerce Tigers and the Tatum Eagles squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Commerce Tigers had to settle for second. Commerce's rough 42-21 loss to Tatum might stick with them for a while.
Despite the loss, Commerce still got an impressive performance from Caleb Glover, who rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown. Glover was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 61 yards. Another big playmaker for Commerce was Treyvion Carter, who returned a punt for a touchdown.
Commerce has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season. As for Tatum, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Commerce does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tatum will face off against Whitney at TBD on Friday. Whitney is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
