Basketball Recap: Concordia's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Concordia). They snuck past the Hanover Wildcats with a 79-73 win on Tuesday. The Panthers' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Hanover lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Cooper Bruna, who went 5 of 12 en route to 16 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Tanner Bruna, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

Concordia's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Hanover, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concordia will welcome Marysville on Friday. One thing working in Concordia's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Hanover, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Hanover Wildcats face off against the Washington County Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
