Jayden Verastegui Game Report: vs Port Isabel

Edcouch-Elsa came out on top against Port Isabel on Friday thanks in part to Jayden Verastegui's efforts. Verastegui turned in his biggest game of the season, making ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Verastegui and Edcouch-Elsa will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mercedes at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. The Yellowjackets have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since October of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
