Cheney had already won nine in a row and they went ahead and made it ten on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Nickerson Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on September 4th.

Cheney never let Nickerson on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-20.

Cheney got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lucy Fouquet out in front who had 15 digs and one assist. Fouquet has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played. Kenadi Thome was another key player, getting 11 digs and two assists.

Cheney's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Nickerson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.

Cheney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Collegiate on the 27th. As for Nickerson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Trinity Academy on the 27th.
