Volleyball Recap: Oceanside Takes a Loss

Oceanside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the La Costa Canyon Mavericks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 8th.

While Oceanside was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 25-15.

Oceanside's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for La Costa Canyon, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 25-11.

As of now, neither Oceanside nor the Mavericks have any future games scheduled.
