Baseball Recap: Durand Comes Up Short

The Durand Railroaders didn't have quite enough to beat the Stockbridge Panthers on Thursday and fell 5-4.

Durand's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Stockbridge, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10.

Coming up, Durand will welcome Perry at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stockbridge, they will head out to challenge Dansville at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Aggies have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.36 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
