Soccer Recap: Avon Park Gets the Win

Avon Park gave up the first goal on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged the Lake Placid Dragons out 3-2. The Red Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dragons, too.

Avon Park hit Lake Placid with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Joshua Acosta-Guillarte, Uriel Islas, and Daniel Dominguez-Valdez.

Avon Park now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Lake Placid, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6-2 record this season.

Avon Park didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Tenoroc on the 20th. As for Lake Placid, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-1 defeat against Hardee on the 20th.
