            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Bountiful, Bonneville was happy to have turned things around  on Wednesday. They skirted past the Roy Royals  3-2. For the Lakers, this counts as revenge for the   10-8 win the Royals walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in May of 2024.

 Ryker Allen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned runs on five hits and racked up eight Ks. He also  tossed  no  walks, which is notable because Bonneville is undefeated when he allows at  most  one  walk, but 6-13 otherwise.
 On the hitting side,  Jet Hirschi was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, one  triple,  and one  run. He is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played.
Bonneville's victory  ended  a  five-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 9-13. As for Roy, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost ten of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record  this season.
Bonneville will have a chance to go back-to-back against Roy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday.
