Baseball Recap: East Central Comes Up Short

East Central lost against Vancleave last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. East Central came up short against Vancleave, falling 11-1. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Combs, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

East Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Vancleave, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

While East Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
