Delta and East Chicago Central squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Delta had to settle for second. They lost to the Cardinals on the road by a 62-46 margin. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Delta's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jordan Furney, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 16 points, and Lucas Bragg, who shot 43% from the field on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bronson Edwards, who posted four points and three steals.

It was another big night for Dominique Murphy, who shot 83% from the field en route to 22 points and seven boards for East Chicago Central. The contest was Murphy's 17th in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Joseph Watkins, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 11 points.

Delta's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for East Chicago Central, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-8.

Delta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Chicago Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 84-72 defeat against South Bend Saint Joseph on the 22nd.
