After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Centennial, Redwood was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Mission Oak Hawks. The Rangers haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Redwood took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-8.

Katelynn May paced Redwood's offense, picking up ten kills. May got some help from Elise Minnick and her 13 assists. Jazmaine Stewart controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Redwood's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Mission Oak, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.

Redwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Exeter on the 12th. As for Mission Oak, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Tehachapi on the 12th.
