Baseball Recap: Olathe Comes Up Short

Olathe and Yuma squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Olathe had to settle for second. They came up short against the Outlaws, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Pirates' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Olathe saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Robertson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Olathe has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season. As for Yuma, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-6.

Olathe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Yuma, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-0 defeat against Monte Vista on the 17th.
