Volleyball Game Preview: Beaver Beavers vs. Gunnison Valley Bulldogs

Beaver hasn't had much luck against Gunnison Valley recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Beavers will take on the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Gunnison Valley took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Beaver, who comes in off a win.

Beaver is headed out to face Gunnison Valley after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Beavers had just enough and edged out Milford 3-2 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Beavers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Beaver was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 16-25, 22-25, 25-18, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Gunnison Valley came up short against Manti on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Templars: they've now lost three in a row.

While Gunnison Valley ultimately came up short, they really made Manti work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 22-25, 25-18, 28-26.
