Soccer Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Valley's offense. They came up short against the Frontier Academy Wolverines on Thursday, falling 9-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Valley of the 6-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Valley's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Frontier Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Valley will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Weld Central at 4:00 p.m. Valley are facing Weld Central at the right time seeing as Weld Central are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Frontier Academy, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Summit on the 12th.
