Volleyball Game Preview: Higley Knights vs. Williams Field Black Hawks + How To Watch

Higley is 1-9 against Williams Field since October of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Higley didn't have quite enough to beat Desert Ridge and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Williams Field hadn't done well against Gilbert recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Black Hawks won by a set and slipped past the Tigers 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Black Hawks as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Williams Field got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 23-25, 25-19, 24-26, 15-6.

Higley's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Williams Field, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.
