            It may have taken  ten innings to finish the job, but Beaver ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  4-3  victory over the Hampton Talbots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  5-1  last Monday.

 The team  relied heavily on  Derek Hughes, who  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  double. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  RJ Sebek, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
Beaver's win was  their fifth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 6-1.
