Warrensburg had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Oak Grove Panthers by a score of 5-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Warrensburg's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Oak Grove, they moved to 8-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Warrensburg and Oak Grove should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Tigers (ranked 32nd) will meet Pleasant Hill (ranked 157th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oak Grove will face off against Lexington at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (150 vs. 381).
