South View had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the West Johnston Wildcats get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won 11 matchups in a row.

JORDYNN PARNELL made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 20 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run.

In other batting news, MADDY CLARK was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

South View's win bumped their record up to 20-2. As for West Johnston, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-11.

South View wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-1 loss against Gray's Creek on the 12th. West Johnston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
