Baseball Game Preview: Agricultural Science Cyclones vs. Dunbar Mightymen

For the second straight game, Agricultural Science will face off against Dunbar. The Cyclones will welcome the Mightymen at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Agricultural Science has four straight wins, Dunbar has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Agricultural Science is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 22-7 margin over Dunbar on Monday. Considering the Cyclones have won eight games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Elias Fernandez was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and eight RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in triples (two). Jarius Simmons -Watson was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.

Agricultural Science was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in five consecutive matches.

Agricultural Science pushed their record up to 8-3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Dunbar, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
