The losing side was boosted by Cianna Groom, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ava Ward, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, Scott had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 55-54 W against the Red Devils.

Scott pushed their record up to 9-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for Riverside, their loss dropped their record down to 4-16.
